Of course Crumbs Bake Shop is vending its own version of the cronut, the Crumbnut, on sale today for $2.95 only at Crumbs' Los Angeles shops. Reps describe the Crumbnut as "a delicious hybrid of a donut shaped pastry with the consistency of a flaky croissant," and right now two versions are on offer: a plain Crumbnut filled with Bavarian cream and a plain Crumbnut topped with powdered sugar.
