Planet Raw on Broadway and 6th didn't stay vacant for long. Santa Monica's unfancy neighborhood breakfast and lunch spot, Blue Daisy Cafe, is taking over with a second, more spacious restaurant opening in September. Management has applied for a beer and wine license to go along with their new dinner menu and expanded hours: 8 a.m. to midnight.
