Hooray Henry's Shakes Up West Hollywood, British Style

New, 17 comments

Elizabeth Daniels 8/13

Evoking the swinging, elegant apartments of London, Hooray Henry's hits West Hollywood tomorrow night with sharp lines, brass accents, and smoked mirrors. Founded by John Terzian of the h.wood.group (SHOREbar, Bootsy Bellows), along with partners Brian Toll and Markus Molinari, the John M. Sofio-designed enterprise replaces The Beverly and all its industrial glory. Those booths? They're inspired by Rolls Royce seats, natch.

The whole theme came about from British friends of Terzian and Molinari. In addition to those plush booths, note custom equestrian accents, trophies, slick wood paneling, and various trinkets. It's one part pub, one part Jaguar (circa 1960s), and more than a few dashes of British mod. There's a 3-D projection screen as well as DJ booth for prime viewing, in addition to an upstairs suite for friends and family.
