Late Night at Pork Belly's; Alex Reznik at Colonial, More!

New, 3 comments

VENICE— No need to hit Swingers for late night eats. Abbot Kinney's new meaty sandwich spot Pork Belly's has extended its hours of operation until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights. Recent menu additions: Chopped Brisket Sliders, Chorizo Sloppy Joe Sliders and Cheese Tots. Also, through August 15, anyone who drops by and mentions Eater LA snags a freebie order of fried pickles with the purchase of a sandwich. [EaterWire]

MID-CITY— Remember Colonial Wine Bar on Melrose? Top Chef alum Alex Reznik, who was cooking at FigOly last summer, is taking over the kitchen Friday and Saturday nights moving forward with a seasonal menu described as an "ode to Brooklyn." Reznik is serving plates like pork and beans with a maple glaze and Greek yogurt; and a whole fried chicken with sriracha, salsa verde and tortillas. [EaterWire]
