TLT Food is Still Lime Green, Now Coloring Downtown

Elizabeth Daniels 9/13

Chef Daniel Shemtob is quickly making a name for himself in the world of Blue Crab Grilled Cheese and Pork Belly Nachos. What started out as SoCal fusion vehicle The Lime Truck (and winner of Food Network's Great Food Truck Race in 2011) manifested into Westwood's fast casual TLT Food last year, and today Shemtob breaks into the Downtown market with his second TLT Food brick and mortar in place of Silo Slider Bar.

The small eatery, half the size of the Westwood branch, is colored in the brand's signature lime green, with a quick service setup. However, via a partnership with next-door Silo Vodka Bar, patrons have the added option to dine at TLT or at Silo because Shemtob's Cali-Mexican-Asian fusion menu is now served there as well. Expect new dishes to come, two changing flavors of limeade (but of course), and brunch to launch at both TLT and at Silo on September 15.
