The Six, that easy to like neighborhood craft beer and seasonal Cali cuisine spot by Jake King and Will Karges, is bouncing over to Calabasas. Location three for the American bar bistro (prior outlets are in West LA and Studio City) is the previous Guido's Italian restaurant in Old Town, and right now the partners are in escrow to move in. They're extremely excited about entering the Calabasas market, and King says that Old Town "has a country vibe and much like The Six it is timeless and vintage which is a perfect match and made it an easy decision for us to nail our 3rd Six location."

Unlike The Six's prior two outlets which pour just beer and wine, in Calabasas they will have a full liquor license. And staying in theme with their six beer samplers, the new eatery will offer six seasonal signature cocktails from blackberry mojitos muddled with mint to white peach martinis. Obviously these will change based on market availability.

The restaurant encompasses about 5,000 square feet with two bars, one in the back, which will become the main place to drink. Moving forward, King/Karges plan to expand The Six "throughout California" and they recognize Calabasas as their template of future locations to come. Much of their aesthetic design work is being done off-site, and for some time now they've been amassing recycled materials like wood crates, sheet metal, and copper for the remodel.
