Meals on Wheels

The Four Seasons Hotels chain is launching a food truck. Say what? On September 16 the FS Taste Truck will embark on an eight week, eight city jaunt in the west, with six of the eight stops in California. The vehicle hits Santa Barbara (Sept 30 - Oct 6), LA Beverly Wilshire (Oct 7-13), LA Doheny (Oct 14-20), and Westlake Village (Oct 21-27). At each stop the truck will serve plates prepared by the property's chefs. For example, the Doheny location will plate up short rib quesadillas, shrimp tostadas and tres leches cake. [NYT]
