Umami Burger Arts, Ready to Rumble Downtown

District BBQ & Lounge, previously K-Town BBQ, will soon grill up Umami burgers, as the chain breaks out with its 20th location in the Arts District Downtown on September 23. Fashioned by the Westin Mitchell design team, note the use of brick (discovered behind sheetrock), weathered wood and exposed lightbulbs, which lend that now ubiquitous feel of fictional authenticity. In addition to Umami's core menu, this location will serve an exclusive burger that's still being finalized at the moment. The small four stool bar is keeping it local with eight beers on tap and 22 in bottle all from SoCal. Hours of operation run daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
