DOWNTOWN— Lobster, lobster, and lobster is going down at Tasting Table's annual Lobster Roll Rumble, hitting LA on November 7 from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Cooper building Downtown. Who is serving up the west coast's best lobster roll? The contenders are littlefork, L&E Oyster Bar, BP Oysterette, Sam's Chowder House, Anchor & Hope, The Strand Houe, Hungry Cat, Cousins Maine, Old Port Lobster Shack, plus (random) Chobani, the Greek yogurt company. There's also going to be beer, Murray's cheese, and desserts from Kettle Glazed doughnuts, Short Cake, Creme Caramel, Ramekin, and The Churro Borough of Los Angeles.
