8301 Beverly Blvd. has been on the market and a while back Eater heard that BRG Restaurant Group (Brick + Mortar, Fatty's Public House) was considering the building. Instead, a new kid-friendly establishment called Au Fudge is moving into the 4,853 square foot space (plus 230 square foot patio) to serve healthful organic fare from breakfast through dinner. Management is also planning a retail section with foods to-go and a kids area with arts and crafts. The roughly 120-seat restaurant is looking to offer beer and wine, and proposed hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and 7 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday. [EaterWire]
