The Wilde Thistle, the forthcoming Celtic eatery on Motor in West LA, has secured necessary permits and finally broken ground. Plumbing is going in and contractors estimate a launch by mid-October, just a bit later than the initial August 1 projection. But owner Caity Wallace is looking to raise a few bucks ($15k) to cover "the opening and operational costs of the cafe" and is asking for donations via crowdfunding site Foodstart. [EaterWire]
