Mabel's, a Chicken and Waffles Place Downtown

Chef Jason Harley of the shuttered Pici and before that Parq in Hollywood is opening a fried chicken and waffle joint Downtown called Mabel's. According to his LA Food & Wine bio, Mabel's will serve as "the flagship for a franchaise of family-friendly affordable restaurants built on his take on classic comfort food." Brigham Yen says the first South Park outlet should open by the end of next month.
