8010 Melrose, a small storefront that has served as a retail space in various incarnations, will be reborn on November 15 as Bo Nuage, a Parisian confectionary centered on French cloud cakes. Think whipped cream sandwiched between two meringues, covered in more whipped cream and white chocolate shavings. Pascal and Audrey Achcar (same family responsible for Lette Macarons) are behind this pastry shop and plan to serve the cakes in some of the same tastes as Lette macarons, like salted caramel, passion fruit, and pistachio. But 15 total flavors are in the works, and each cake will be sold to-go at $6. Larger versions will be available as well, in addition to LAMILL coffee and tea.
