Menotti's Coffee Stop Plus Secret Bar to Buzz Venice Soon

Venice's historic Townhouse bar was once named Menotti's, and now owners Louie and Annette Ryan are building out a new coffee shop and "secret" cocktail bar within the same building, Menotti's Coffee Stop and Menotti's Saloon.

Menotti's Coffee Stop should debut in the next few weeks, helmed by barista Christopher "nicely" Abel Alameda, who will brew Four Barrel beans. Nicely has been in the coffee game for the last decade, having helped open Intelligentsia in Venice with Kyle Glanville (G&B Coffee), with time spent at Handsome Coffee Roasters, too. And, Nicely is a three time Coffee Fest World Latte Art Champion, so he just might make you a pretty drink if you ask nicely. Pun intended.

Meanwhile, management is also looking to open a new bar in bar experience, Menotti's Saloon, located below The Del Monte Speakeasy. Similar to NYC's Bathtub Gin, patrons will enter the drinkery by walking though Menotti's Coffee Stop, into a reservation only classic cocktail parlor with 12 to 18 seats. [ELA]
