Los Angeles always needs more places to grab a solid burger and pint of brew, and North Hollywood is no exception. Enter The District Pub, a comfy new eatery that's already garnered a ton of early Yelpage (how credible, it's hard to tell), but the menu touts a Golden State-esque burgers and sausages menu, with a bit more variety on the sausage side that would make Valley denizens forget about the likes of Wurstküche. The standard burger is topped with caramelized onion, cherry tomato thyme jam, and fontina cheese, while the wursts range from andouille to Polish kolbasa to alligator.
Beers veer from local crafts (Monkish Crux made with elderflower is one standout) to Belgium's Delirium Tremens. A modest wine list rounds out the booze selection. Hours run from 11 a.m. to midnight on weeknights and until 2 a.m. on weekends.
