The Wilde Thistle, a Celtic Cafe in Culver

After a series of delays, The Wilde Thistle — that Celtic cafe from owner and chef Caity Wallace — hit Culver City on January 11 with a limited menu of baked goods, soups and sandwiches. Traditional savory Celtic pastries on offer too stuffed with cornish beef, potato leek and turkey butternut squash. An expanded bill of fare is in the works and should debut in the next couple of weeks prior to The Wilde Thistle's grand launch on January 25.

To complement the baked goods one will find coffee drinks brewed with Alana's Coffee and teas by Art of Tea. Hours of operation run Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
