Japan scores a taste of fine dining Los Angeles with the recent launch of a second Patina restaurant in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, a major expansion for Joachim Splichal and his flagship 24-year-old seasonal French eatery. Hitoshi Sugiura of Ray's & Stark Bar in LA and Lincoln in New York serves as executive chef and Ray's & Stark Bar's Paul Sanguinetti is behind the wine and spirits program.
