Restaurateur George Abou-Daoud has a new cook running the show at Rosewood Tavern. Joe Vasiloff — opening sous chef at Animal who then went on to work at Bouchon, Ray's and Stark Bar, and Pinot Grill — is now in charge of the restaurant's pubby Fairfax kitchen. Abou-Daoud told LAmag that Vasiloff's reworked bill of fare is "eclectic but very accessible." [LAmag]
