Culver City is abuzz with action from the imminent East Borough to newly minted Cafe Vida, serving since January 10. The decade-old Palisades eatery, which also operates a location in El Segundo, has hit Culver City with its healthy Latin-influenced California menu of juice, smoothies, breakfast eggs, "wholesome" salads, sandwiches, and larger composed dishes for dinner. There's an emphasis on organic ingredients, organic coffee drinks, and hormone and antibiotic-free chicken and meats. Right now hours are running daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
