Perhaps or perhaps not inspired by Roy Choi's Chego!, Yellow Fever is a new rice bowl restaurant in Torrance that melds Asian and American flavors with a base of rice, rice noodles, or salad. Patrons can choose from signature blends or create a bespoke bowl topped with baked kale or an egg roll. Bowls cost under $10 (hey Midtown Lunch) and there are also sides like chicken wings and fries with Parmesan furikake. [EaterWire]
