The Light Group and chef Akira Back of Kumi and Yellowtail in Las Vegas is partnering with LORE Group to bring the latter sushi-themed Japanese restaurant to the defunct Mirabelle space on Sunset. This past weekend at Sundance, Back hosted a preview tasting of Yellowtail on Sunset, which is slated to open early this summer. Expect dishes like big eye tuna pizza, lobster carpaccio, yuzu salmon, braised kobe beef short ribs, and baked crab hand rolls. [EaterWire]
