CiBOTECA Marketplace Looking Toward February Debut

Italian marketplace CiBOTECA, from the Piccolo restaurant group, is looking at an early February debut for the Santa Monica eatery's expansive new digs. Sort of like a mini Eataly, CiBOTECA will feature everything from an extensive panini menu, cheeses, crostinis, rotisserie chickens, pastries, coffee from Caffe Luxxe, Italian beers and wine. Produced by chef Bobo Ivan and Vittorio Viotto, this will be the fourth production of the Piccolo group.

In addition to antipasti and sandwiches, expect a lineup of oils, honeys, and fresh-baked cakes. Planned hours will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, providing the burgeoning neighborhood with a handy everyday Italian groceries and bites.
