More Details on The Lost Knight in Echo Park

Matthew Kang is the Lead Editor of Eater LA. He has covered dining, restaurants, food culture, and nightlife in Los Angeles since 2008. He's the host of K-Town, a YouTube series covering Korean food in America, and has been featured in Netflix's Street Food show.

A few tidbits surface on The Lost Knight, which is taking over the former Barragan's on Sunset in Echo Park. According to hospitality group Potential's website, The Lost Knight will be a "modern take" on the gastropub, certainly not an unfamiliar concept in this part of town.

Alan Moore, whose name was listed on the ABC and the head of Potential, isn't giving out any details, but a craft beer & pub format is likely to give Echo Park hipsters something to talk about. Meanwhile, The Black Cat, another gastropub-type place down in Silver Lake seems to be humming along. Barragan's had lived in the stucco building since 1961 before folding in October. The Burbank and Glendale locations are still in operation.
