Peer Into Palihouse WeHo's Lovely Boho-Chic Makeover

Matthew Kang is the Lead Editor of Eater LA. He has covered dining, restaurants, food culture, and nightlife in Los Angeles since 2008. He's the host of K-Town, a YouTube series covering Korean food in America, and has been featured in Netflix's Street Food show.

The nearly six-year old Palihouse Hotel in West Hollywood was ready for a little sprucing up, and the boho-chic result is certainly a stunner. Some richer color palettes, plush courtyard seating, dark wood, and plenty of foliage lends the revamped interior to a swanky, yet casual WeHo lifestyle. As for the food, the Courtyard Brasserie's kitchen is now helmed by Mathew Woolf (The Fat Cow, FIG), who will be producing a crowd-pleasing, seasonal menu, which currently touts roasted cauliflower with quinoa and diver scallops with fennel puree. Finally, Woolf is launching a Brit Brunch to be served every Sunday starting February 23 featuring fish & chips, buttermilk crumpets, and scones.
