Although some believed that lauded Brooklyn pizza man Paul Gianonne had secured the former Italiano's Pizza space on York Boulevard for his west coast wood-fired Neapolitan pizza debut, it turns out that Paulie Gee's is not Highland Park-bound. Gianonne says, "We are still looking for a space. We lost out on a killer spot on York Blvd, my favorite street in LA and since pickin's are slim up there, we have turned our focus to the DT Arts District." [EaterWire]
