Lucy's 51 Pop-Up; A 15,000 Slice Cake for Beverly Hills

TOLUCA LAKE— Self proclaimed "Aphrodisiac Expert," chef Jeff Torin (PDA Catering), will cook a pricey aphrodisiac-themed pop-up Valentine's Day dinner at Lucy's 51. BEVERLY HILLS— The Luxe Rodeo Drive Hotel is partnering with Guittard Chocolate chef Donald Wressell to build a 15,000-slice kosher birthday cake for Beverly Hills, to be presented (and served) on April 27 during the City of Beverly Hills' Centennial Block Party on Rodeo. The behemoth will be 10-feet high, 15-feet wide, 20-feet long, and weigh about 4,000 pounds. Flavor: Chocolate. [EaterWire]
