Prolific LA chef Roy Choi (Kogi, Chego!) and revered cocktail chef Matthew Biancaniello (Plan Check, Library Bar) have partnered on drinks at Pot Bar, the lobby drinkery within Koreatown's new Line Hotel, which soft opens this coming Monday, February 3. Pot Bar is the drinking place married to Choi's hotly anticipated Pot restaurant, The Line's main dining attraction serving "Korean food through the eyes of an American with Korean blood."
Those who follow Choi on Twitter would have noticed that in the last day the chef Tweeted out updates like, "I'm bout 2get REAL busy. The path to POT starts now. Restaurant & café soon but there is a surprise: POT BAR OPENING NEXT WEEK! Drinks!!" and "Drinks by me and my homie Matt Biancaniello. Think Fuzzy Navels from the farmers market & Long Islands on tap. And so much more! #POTBAR." So there you have it. Fuzzy Navels from the farmers market and Long Islands on tap. Choi also Tweted about arugula soju, mushroom soju, and White Russians. No food just yet, only drinks.
And in addition to Pot the restaurant, additional eating and drinking engagements will follow.
