A TBA four-star, 900-room hotel will open within Wilshire Grand Tower, a new 73-floor building (supposedly the tallest skyscraper on the west coast) slated to debut in early 2017 at Wilshire and Figueroa in Downtown. Brigham Yen shares a rendering of the AC Martin-designed rooftop pool deck/lounge and says that developer Korean Air was first thought to be launching a Le Méridien property but now signs point to Waldorf-Astoria or Grand Hyatt.
