Red Medicine Team Spices Up Menu at Formosa Cafe

Here now, one of chef Jordan Kahn's new projects. The Red Medicine team of Kahn plus partners Noah Ellis and Umami founder Adam Fleischman are teaming up with Vincent Jung, owner of Formosa Café, to launch Red Med at Formosa Café, just as the historic Los Angeles eatery celebrates 75 years. What this all means is that Formosa aesthetics will stay the same but an entirely new menu of modern Vietnamese plates will be on offer, executed daily by Mark Tagnipez (XIV, Red Medicine, Momofuku). Think popular dishes off Red Medicine's original menu like banh-mi, brisket, and dumplings. Red Med at Formosa Café should debut at the end of January and hours of operation will run daily from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m.
