Last night pioneering Italian chef Celestino Drago shuttered Enoteca Drago, his neighborhood white tablecloth restaurant which has served traditional fixings of unspecified regional Italian cuisine in the heart of Beverly Hills for the last decade. Up next comes a modern Japanese construction.
Per restaurant reps, Drago would like to "express his gratitude on behalf of the Enoteca Drago's staff for 10 successful years on Canon Drive in Beverly Hills, and to all of the local Angelenos who frequented the restaurant during its tenure." Though Drago and Osteria Drago have shuttered in recent times, he will continue to operate Il Pastaio, Drago Centro, Drago Bakery and Drago Air.
