The hipsters are rejoicing now that Downtown LA has an artsy and stone cold stunning boutique Ace Hotel to call home, with new and refurbished building embellishments enhanced by GREC Architects and Commune Design. And while those photos yesterday showed off the property and some of its dining engagements, we were missing shots of LA Chapter. It's the signature contemporary Cali comfort bistro on the ground floor of the Ace from the Brooklyn restauranting team of Jud Mongell and chef/partner Ken Addington of Five Leaves in Greenpoint.
Here now, check out LA Chapter, with its checkered floor, decorative Pendleton-esque pillows, and bistro sense, which, frankly feels just a smidge like The Breslin inside the Ace in Manhattan. At least as far as hipsterness is concerned. Also above, see Stumptown's coffee bar at LA Chapter, the mezzanine bar/lounge, and an under construction glimpse at rooftop lounge Upstairs.
