SnowLA Shavery, not to be confused with Beverly Hills' long shuttered sno:la froyo shop, is a new shaved ice dessertery at 3470 W. 6th Street #2B in K-Town. Doors open to the public at 11 a.m. this coming Saturday, and the MO here is to shave blocks of low-cal milk infused with less common flavors like misugaru (five-grain powder) and pistachio. Patrons can then customize cups with fruit and more from a self-serve topping bar. Hours of operation run Sunday to Thursday from 11:30 a.m to 11 p.m and Friday/Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to midnight.
