Pasta Month Means $12 Pasta Flights at Tanzy in Westwood

If you're into carb loading but the whole unlimited deal at Olive Garden turns you off, this is the perfect upgrade.

Matthew Kang is the Lead Editor of Eater LA. He has covered dining, restaurants, food culture, and nightlife in Los Angeles since 2008. He's the host of K-Town, a YouTube series covering Korean food in America, and has been featured in Netflix's Street Food show.

Tanzy in Westwood has quietly been providing a nice alternative to the relative hegemony of Palomino and Napa Valley Grille just up the street, with seasonal California Italian fare in a swell dining environment (a bit on the corporate-y side but that's the nabe).

To celebrate October as National Pasta Month, chef Brian Podgorski is offering a pasta tasting trio for just $12, plus accompanying wine pairings for another $12, or $4 per glass, making this an ideal pre-theater spot before watching a flick at iPic Theaters. It's available all day during October for lunch, brunch, and dinner, and includes house made strozzapreti, orecchiette, and beef short rib ravioli.
