The Springs Brings Pressed Juice, Yoga and Raw Food to the Arts District Saturday

New, 2 comments

The Springs holistic complex finally comes to the Arts District downtown.

By now we’ve heard a few details and even seen the plywood, but The Springs is finally here. The Mateo St. space in the Arts District, with plans to hold everything from a juice bar and sustainable retail space to holistic healing treatment rooms and yoga sessions, is set to debut on Friday, October 17 Saturday, October 18. The organic leaf in their cap, of course, is the incoming completely raw, vegan restaurant, by way of chefs Michael Falso and Ian Martin.

As you can see in the photos, the Design Bitches team has really done a number on this former warehouse space, brushing up the cement and spare walls while adding plenty of color inside. The fast-casual juice bar means yogis can grab their kale smoothies and go, or linger for a bit in the open space. A touch of outdoor seating and plenty of murals finalize the downtown feel.

The Springs is set to open on Friday Saturday after an invite-only launch party Thursday Friday night, so get your weekend ready for lots of healthy antics in the Arts District. Or pound some brunch nearby and finish off with some fresh-pressed juice just to kid yourself a little bit.
