Starry Kitchen and Angel City Brewery are partnering with the Japanese American Cultural & Community Center for the inaugural CrabFest. The festival, taking placing Saturday, October 25 in Little Tokyo, will feature all-you-can-eat snow crab for an estimated total of 2,000 pounds of crab legs from the proprietor of the most well known crab in town.
Along with the Singaporean Chili Snow Crab Legs with red potatoes and fresh corn, the menu will also include buttermilk Angel City beer beignets, garlic noodles prepared with the now famous Sun Noodle ramen, and traditional Japanese manju made by a local scout troop.
True crab connoisseurs who are interested in buying 10-person VIP tables will also be treated to Nguyen and Thi Tran’s elusive Singaporean Black Pepper Crab, but must contact the JACCC directly for a reservation.
Tickets are $75 for adults and $65 for kids under 12, and can be purchased here. Proceeds go toward providing free concerts and festivals on the JACCC plaza throughout the year.
