Jaime Martin del Campo and Ramiro Arvizu Close to Unveiling Dual Concepts in Baldwin Hills

La Casita Mexicana's Jaime Martin del Campo and Ramiro Arvizu are close to opening their latest full service restaurant and fast casual concept.

For anyone everyone waiting not-so-patiently for La Casita Mexicana's Jaime Martin del Campo and Ramiro Arvizu to open their new dual concepts in the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw, Food GPS has snagged some new details. As we know, Flautas is the fast-casual food court option offering the typical rolled taco, while Mexicano is the pair's full service eatery, complete with bar program.

In addition to the team's well-known stuffed chiles and moles, del Campo and Arvizu have apparently mastered a ten minute tamale, a made-to-order version that comes in a dozen different flavors and will be available at Mexicano. As for Flautas, apparently the original concept revolved around enchiladas instead, though that notion has been shelved as potential future project; their projected menu can be found here.

For now, the wait continues for both Flautas and Mexicano, which is anticipating an opening by the end of the year.
