Get Ready for Your New Power Lunch Spot

Barneys New York may be best known as a designer shopping mecca, but dedicated power lunchers have long been loyal to Freds, the restaurant at the Madison Avenue flagship. It's a must-visit when in New York-or Chicago, the restaurant's other outpost-but soon, the West Coast will be able to get their own Freds fix.

As part of a transformative renovation of Barneys' Beverly Hills flagship-it is the location's 20th anniversary, after all-executive chef Mark Strausman is taking his seasonal, local, Italian-influenced menu to California's first-ever Freds. The restaurant, your new lunch and brunch go-to, will serve up all the style you've come to expect from Barneys (case in point: the servers will wear custom-designed uniforms by L.A. label Band of Outsiders). And if you're into gorgeous food photography, you should probably start following their new Instagram channel @fredsatbarneys.

Now go make those reservations.
