Celebrated Italian gelateria Grom has been living near the coast in Malibu for a few years now, but the chain is ready to move inland with a new location planned inside the Hollywood & Highland complex some time later this year. It's taking over the old Crumbs, a cupcakery that filed for bankruptcy last year, right inside the main drag of the tourist trap mall.

Still, the gelato shop makes some of the finest Italian ice cream in the city, which certainly elevates the culinary profile of the tourist center known as Hollywood & Highland. And it'll certainly be a boon to see what Kris Keith and his company Spacecraft are up to at the upstairs dining deck. Are you ready some top-drawer gelato, Hollywood?
