The popular breakfast and brunch eatery Blu Jam Cafe is excited to open its doors this weekend in Woodland Hills. This will be the third installment of the café, with locations on Melrose Ave. and Sherman Oaks. The hours will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. seven days a week and it will be exactly like its sister locations.
The list of Blu Jam specialties is too long to list but the Crunchy French Toast with warm vanilla bean sauce and their classic, fluffy, blueberry pancakes will be on the menu. As well as organic, healthy vegan and vegetarian options for those clean eaters. If brunch doesn't do it, lunch is just as good. With many choices including sandwiches, burgers and salads like the Beets and Garden featuring arugula, fresh beets, goat cheese, black currants, candied walnuts and a citrus vinaigrette, there's something for everyone.
Blu Jam Café nestled between Calabasas and Woodland Hills, in the West Valley, will most likely continue the notable following. Get there early to avoid two-hour wait times. If it becomes too crazy, their Facebook page has a couple of recipes to try out at home instead.
