It's been a banner year for out of town concepts opening in Los Angeles, so here's another notable transplant looking to make a mark in the city of Angels. Catch NYC, which has a huge 275 seat monster of a restaurant in Meatpacking District, is planning to open shop on La Cienega Blvd on West Hollywood, confirm multiple sources.
Top Chef Season 3 winner Hung Huynh has been helming the stoves since its inception and plans to run the kitchen at the West Hollywood expansion. At this point, not much else is known, though a debut in early next year is likely.
Catch NYC's menu has some similarities to the likes of Connie & Ted's, though with a bit more creativity such as herb-roasted branzino and seven different lobster rolls. The place also features a heavy selection of shellfish and simply cooked fish.
