Relais de Paris, Yet Another Place Trying to Make the Carson House Space Work

The supposedly cursed space gets another eager tenant in Beverly Hills.

When will people learn? The location in Beverly Hills that was once Porterhouse Bistro, then Delfina Citta, and most recently Carson House is once again turning into some swanky establishment. This one has the most uppity name of them all: Relais de Paris, as this ABC posting shows.

A gentleman by the name of Hamdi Abdel Osman is the lead managing member for the LLC, which takes over a full 47 license just around the corner from La Cienega's famous Restaurant Row. This stretch has been unforgiving for larger restaurants, with Red Medicine calling it quits in a few days and celebrity magnet Philippe having a rather quiet tenure a few blocks down. No word on the concept or opening date for Relais de Paris at the moment.
