Downtown seems to be taking a mature turn away from cocktails, with this newest entrant underneath Bar & Kitchen at the O Hotel focusing mainly on the fruit of the grapevine. D'Vine Wine Cellar opened a few weeks ago quietly in the basement of the hotel with a cellar-like feel and a swell list of approachable wines by the glass and bottle. Of course, spirits drinkers can enjoy a curated list of scotches, whiskies, and bourbons as well, which makes this kind of an ideal place to have a night cap in Downtown.
As for bites, enjoy a selection of small munchies like rillettes, roasted peppers, roasted beets, cheeses, charcuterie, and even oysters. Desserts run with creme fraiche panna cotta, figs with ricotta, and hazelnut chocolate truffles that will make sure you finish the evening on a sweet note.
