Ray's & Stark Bar's Movie-Themed Drinks, La Sandia's Unlimited Brunch

LACMA's in house restaurant is serving a tribute drink menu in honor of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

MID-WILSHIRE— Ray's & Stark Bar is doing a movie-themed menu from now until March 2015 with drinks and dishes harking back to classic films such as The Great Gatsby, The Wizard of Oz, Titanic. The "May the Odds be Ever In Your Favor," has pisco, lemon juice, fresh berries, and aperitif wine to round it out. [EaterWire]

SANTA MONICA— La Sandia is starting a new brunch called Beats & Eats Brunch with bottomless food and cocktails for just $39 per person. Think tacos, quesadillas, Mexican french toast, and Micheladas. Available 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. [EaterWire]

FAIRFAX— The Fat Dog is hosting a clam bake on October 12 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., with New England-style clams, mussels, shrimp, corn, potatoes, and more for $20 per person, paid at the door. Crab legs or a half lobster is an addition $12. [ELA]
