The Beverly Blvd branch of India's Oven has managed to supply the denizens of Mid-City with reliable Indian cooking for years, but it's going under the knife Hollywood-style for a full on makeover and re-concept. Dubbed Cardamom, the project is getting noted UK chef Manju Choudhury, who's known, among other things, to have created the world's largest onion bhaji. The menu itself's also getting a revamp, with a more contemporary menu that better fits what Mid-City diners want. Cardamom is scheduled to open in the next few weeks.
