Inside the Smoked Barbecue Glory of Barrel & Ashes in Studio City

A super group of chefs, restaurateur, and bartender makes this the best sleeper opening of 2014.

Finally, here's the interior of Barrel & Ashes, now officially serving in Studio City in the former Spark Woodfire Grill. Helmed by fine dining chefs Timothy Hollingsworth (The French Laundry) and Rory Hermann (Bouchon), with Michael Kahikina as the primary right hand man, this Texas-inspired barbecue affair is sure to propel the Valley into higher culinary heights.
