Ford's Filling Station Slated For December Opening Inside J.W. Marriott

Ben Ford wasn't going to be sitting around for long. After closing his beloved Culver City gastropub Ford's Filling Station earlier this year (an LAX location still lives), the chef is close to re-opening the concept inside the J.W. Marriott at L.A. Live in Downtown. It's a pretty quick turnaround for a rather large space that will likely serve many functions, from catering inside the large hotel to room service.

But of course, it'll serve as a bit of a dining destination for an area that's more full of chain restaurants than unique places to eat. Ford's representatives are saying that the Filling Station will be ready to start filling bellies starting the first week of December.
