Welcome Hey 19 Public House to the South Bay, a new neighborhood restaurant from Demi Stevens, who also helped open Ortega 120 with Thomas Ortega. The eatery resides in the former Zina's that had been serving the neighborhood since the 1960's. The concept behind this place is having a fun gathering spot for when today's adults were 19 years old.

The homage goes back to the 70s and 80s, with Farrah Fawcett images, Star Wars memorabilia, and pin up girls from the Reagan era. The fare is the hearty pub food, like mac & cheese three ways, house-made charcuterie, seared barramundi, and of course a legit burger chock full of cheddar and garlic aioli on a brioche bun. Basically the kind of familiar spot that feels like a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
