ATWATER VILLAGE— It’s a friendly night of cooking at Canalé on Tuesday the 18th, as Jules Blaine Davis steps in to prepare a three-course, $39 prix fixe dinner.

CENTURY CITY— For the first time, Tom Colicchio’s Craft is doing happy hour at the bar. From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, guests can expect a set menu of reduced-price cocktails.

PASADENA— Local wheat mavens Grist & Toll are doing a Thanksgiving-themed Community Oven Day on Sunday, November 23 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with most of the loaves (hopefully) being donated to those in need.

THE GROVE— Already in the Black Friday mindset? Steel yourself while shopping with an all-day happy hour at The Whisper Lounge at the Grove, including $5 beers, $7 well drinks and $8 bloody marys for the early risers.
