We've known for a while now that hungry Santa Monicans could turn to their favorite car service app, Uber, to also deliver them lunch; now it seems the burgeoning service is heading for Beverly Hills and West Hollywood.
Joining a slew of other recent higher-end delivery options throughout the city, UberFRESH is pushing into the denser parts of L.A. with a few lunchtime options for hungry office workers. Starting this week, eaters in Santa Monica, Brentwood, Westwood, Beverly Hills and West Hollywood can enjoy the service, which partners with local restaurants to bring set menu options to diners at a reasonable rate (usually around $10), often in a matter of minutes.
Of course, because Uber can't be everywhere at once (yet) menus are still limited, which means vegans and vegetarians won't exactly have the pick of the litter when it comes to the rotating menus. For this week, anyone with a carnivorous side can enjoy dishes like the fried chicken sandwich with orzo pasta from Fundamental LA, or a brisket sandwich with a side of mac and cheese from Bludso's on La Brea.
The week's full menu can be found here.
