Café Dulce's 7th and Alameda Cafe Officially Serves High-End Coffee to Fashion Folks

The Warehouse District gets a trendy new place to grab a cup o' joe.

Matthew Kang is the Lead Editor of Eater LA. He has covered dining, restaurants, food culture, and nightlife in Los Angeles since 2008. He's the host of K-Town, a YouTube series covering Korean food in America, and has been featured in Netflix's Street Food show.

James Choi was onto something when he brought his Café Dulce pop-up to the massive 7th and Alameda office complex, which houses everything from upstart fashion brands to the the huge American Apparel operations.

Now the pop-up has gone brick & mortar, with a stylish new coffee bar that currently serves Heart Coffee from Portland. In coming months, they'll increase food and pastry offerings, fueled by the nearby Little Tokyo cafe. The pourover bar also includes Hario V60, Kalita Wave, and Chemexs brews using the gold-tinted Able Brewing paperless filters. Hours currently run 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, with one hour of free parking in the sizable parking lot.
